Awesome News!
Nathan got news about the Top Scholar competition. He was selected for the Presidential scholarship at Ottawa University!!!!!! 4 year, full-ride, plus a $25,000 stipend to study abroad if he chooses when he is a Junior. And he still has the Dean's scholarship there, and possibly an orchestra scholarship. WTG Nathan!!! Blake and I are so, so proud of him!! He hasn't decided what he's going to do yet. He's still waiting to hear from BYU and then he'll make his decision. To be continued... :)

Nathan's and college
Has it really been almost a month since I last updated my blog??? I better get on that. Nothing terribly exciting has happened and we haven't gone anywhere. Just wanted to say we're all alive and well. (Well scratch that last part. If I say, write, type or even think that we're well, I'll jinx us!)
We've mostly been busy helping Nathan figure out college applications and scholarship applications. He applied to BYU and got accepted. And he applied to Ottawa University and got accepted there too. Ottawa offered him the Dean's scholarship, which is half tuition. He was also invited to compete in the Top Scholar competition for more scholarship money. And they want him to audition for the orchestra for a possibility of more scholarships. (I think they really want him to go there!) Nathan hasn't decided what to do yet. We're still waiting on BYU scholarship information (which comes out in April). And we're waiting on results from Top Scholar and orchestra at Ottawa. He'll do a semester (or two) of school and then plans to go on his mission.
No pictures to go with this update. Just thought I'd write something short while I had time.
