Easter
Here's an all-in-one post of all our Easter fun this year.
Coloring eggs.
I love this picture!
And this one too!
Anna always makes a brown egg using all the colors.
And our tradition of pouring all the colors down the sink at once.
We woke up Easter morning and found that someone put eggs all over our front yard. So fun!
Katie, ready for church and looking so cute.
Caleb stood on the fire place to try to be as tall as his big brothers. He still didn't even come close.
Nothing fancy this year. They each got a DVD, chocolate bunny, candy and a small stuffed animal.
Our string tradition.
It took me a a whole hour and wow, what a workout! The kids waited downstairs while I worked on string. By the time I came to get them, the littles were bouncing off the walls with excitement and the teenagers were DONE with the loud and crazy. Notice that Nathan and Michael... DONE.
Anna wound the string around her hand so she could try to get done the fastest. Failed plan!
I hid Michael's in the box of chips since he LOVES chips. Yes, we eat chips. We're evil.
Hunting for eggs. I was tired at this point, so I let Anna have the "privilege" of hiding them for me. She loved it. I got to sit on the couch and watch. I even made them come to me to take their picture with eggs.

Nathan's Senior Prom
So I have to tell the story of the corsage because I think it's so cute. Nathan's date's name is Holly. So he got this awesome idea that he wanted to have real, live holly incorporated into the corsage. How cute and thoughtful is that?!! This boy of mine is going to make some girl really happy in the future (in the very far future). So Nathan called around everywhere and NO ONE has holly this time of year. He called a nursery and they had a holly plant for sale - a whole, huge plant - for $40. Nathan had a mini heart attack at the price and said no, he couldn't spend that amount of money on a plant. He even called Hobby Lobby for some fake holly and they didn't have any. So he got brave and drove over to the nursery and asked if he they could cut off a stem of holly and sell it to him. They were really nice and just gave him some leaves! And then he took that to the florist and had a really pretty corsage made. I think it turned out really pretty!
He had a great time!!
