Stocking Themes 2015

Since people have asked me, I thought I better post these.  I had to wait till after Christmas, just in case my kids got on my blog.

Here are the stocking themes for this year.  This year I did "colors" as the main theme.  They each got an article of clothing, a "main" gift, ear buds, 2 other little somethings, and then a phone cord, stylus, and charger.  I tried really hard to get them stuff they needed, but also stay in the budget.  (That's so hard to do!)  I didn't want to just get "filler" items.  I think they turned out awesome!

Lydia = Yellow
yellow maxi skirt, yellow locket (a bit of a stretch, but it's yellow gold, so it counts.  And it's what she wanted), yellow 1D makeup bag, yellow 1D bracelet, yellow phone cord, yellow cord/wall charger/stylus:

 Elizabeth = Black
black maxi skirt, black purse (she asked for this one specifically), black ear buds, black headphone splitter, black One Direction bracelet, black phone cord/wall charger/stylus:

 Caleb = Red
Red Pokemon shirt, Minecraft books (1 of them with a red cover, so it counts), red ear buds, red matchbox car, red dragon, red cord/wall charger/stylus.

 Katie = Purple
purple maxi skirt, Scooby Doo figures (in a purple bag.  I knew she wanted Scooby Doo figures, but they're not purple, so I got around that problem by putting them in a  purple bag.), purple journal (not pictured because it was late), purple cord/wall charger/stylus.

 Anna = Aqua
aqua maxi skirt, aqua ring (she loves rings!), aqua ear buds, aqua 1D mouse pad, aqua 1D bracelet, aqua cord/wall charger/stylus.

 Michael = Blue

blue hoodie, blue swords (yes, I found BLUE swords!  I was so excited about these!), blue ear buds, blue car charger, blue cord/wall charger/stylus.

 Blake = Black
black sweater, black Han Solo business card holder, black Yoda mug, black Darth Vader car charger, black stylus, black hat.  (I suppose his is also Star Wars themed, but that was unintentional.)

Nathan = Plan of Happiness
Nathan's was a little different, since he's on a mission.  I got him a Plan of Happiness shirt, and then the kids and I all made him teaching aids out of felt of the Plan of Happiness/Salvation.  We also sent him a green tie (his favorite color) and some CD's since green and music make him happy.  See the connection there??  OK, it was a stretch.  But it worked for what he needed.

And that's it.  I had so much fun, as always!
