New Bathroom!

The bathroom is finally done!  Well, it has been done for a couple months, but I was busy with cruise, mission, graduation, and Eagle project.  Blake did the entire bathroom himself.  It took WAY longer than we ever expected.  He took off work for the week between Christmas and New Year.  Little did either of us know that it would take a whole lot longer than a week.  Almost 4 months later, it was finally done!  We originally wanted to just do the shower - because it needed it most.  Then we figured, why not do the floor while we're at it.  And once he did the shower and floor, the cabinets looked old and boring.  So he painted them.  And then the walls looked bad, so we painted those.  It's so nice now that it's done though!  Blake did a fabulous job on all of it!  It sure is nice being married to a guy that is handy and a perfectionist!  :)

Everything was white/tan/boring/old.  And we found some mold in a shower corner, so that's what promted this whole project.  It wasn't as bad as we thought.  I'm still glad we did it now, before it got bad.

After. 
Didn't he do a good job??  He tore out all the tile, tore out the step, and then did the shower and floor tile.  It's so pretty in there now!

 Blake really wanted to paint the cabinets. I was really against it. He said he wanted to try and would paint them white again if I hated it. I love it. He wins. :)

Old shower. He could have told me he was taking a picture. I might have smiled. Or more likely, hid in the closet!

New shower.  So pretty!  I feel like I'm in a 5 star hotel every morning.

Details of the cutout soap and shampoo holder he did.  This thing took DAYS to do.  But it turned out so nice!  I love it!  And that shower head is amazing!

He ripped out all the ugly white tile behind it and took out the step.  We hid a time capsule in there while it was torn apart.  I hope I never see that time capsule again!  lol.
