April Fool's Day

I've never been big on April Fool's Day, however I thought it would be fun to surprise my kids with a little wackiness this year.  I don't like mean pranks or messy pranks, but I found some fun ideas online so I thought I'd give them a try.

Eyes in the Fridge:
The kids loved it!  I'm sad this picture is blurry because Elizabeth's reaction was great!

Caleb's reaction was the best... jumping up and down, huge eyes,  "Mom, MOM!  There's EYES in the FRIDGE!"

Later we had brownies for dessert.  I told them to come see the extra special, very unusual brownies I made.  I opened the pan and they found... Brown E's.  (I did make brownies for them to eat, but I just hid them.)
The kids had so much fun that they wanted to trick mom.  So they took some food that I asked them to put away and they put it in their play kitchen.  It made me smile!  (And I'm also REALLY glad that no one tried to put a rubber band around the kitchen sink sprayer this year.  I hate it when they do that to me!)
We all had fun!
