What's New

Not much.  School, homework, appointments, lessons... pretty much life as usual.  But I haven't updated for almost a month so I thought I would.

 I posted this on FB but I love it enough to share here too.  The "Mysterious Creature" who is has all powers and no one can find me".  Complete with witch hat, Nerf glasses (sometimes upside down), flash light, light saber (hanging on his back, sword and turtle pajamas.  Don't mess with him, this is serious business. 

 Cute pictures of Elizabeth with her hair up and some of Anna's make up on.  (Note: I don't let her wear make up.  Both Anna and Elizabeth know this, but chose not to care.)

 We had a "snow" day - which was actually for cold temperatures.  High of 0 degrees F and windchill -30.  That's cold.  So did we stay in with blankets and hot chocolate?  No!  We went to see a movie.  We saw the second Hobbit movie.  The kids were looking forward to this and so excited.  They made me take a picture of them with The One Ring.  (I don't know if you can see the ring.  Click on it to make it bigger and that might help.)

 Katie got into Anna's makeup without asking and put on bright blue eye shadow.  She said, "I look like Celine!"  This was right before she went to Young Women.  I told her to get in the car and we'd fix it at church.  She brought her Backyardigans with her for the ride.  She LOVES her Backyardigans.  I found it so cute and innocent and funny.  Katie trying to act like a big YW, with bright blue eye shadow and Backyardigans.  It made me smile.

 

We bought a car!  A used one that will be a "kid car" for any kid that needs to be out of the house.  Currently Nathan is the only one who has a license, but Michael will soon.  It took forever to decide what car, actually buy it, get insurance, and get it licensed.  But it's all done now!  Caleb came with me to the DMV and we were happy to be done.
