My poor blog is so neglected. In an effort to catch up, here are a ton of pictures all lumped together.
Anna and Lydia were in the musical at school. They both did AMAZING!
Anna went to her first Stake Dance now that she's 14. They were supposed to dress up for Halloween.
A picture I took of the beautiful fall leaves. I love this street lined with red trees every year!
I went with Caleb on his field trip to the pumpkin patch. He had fun. I'm so happy I'm able to go on field trips now after all the years that I couldn't because I was home with littles.
Yeah, that's my kid crouched on the ground on the right, while all the other kids stand. We're working on following directions. He's a big people-pleaser and rule-follower. He's also an absent-minded-professor and is usually too distracted thinking deep thoughts to know what's going on around him.
They had animals at the pumpkin patch. Caleb loved them, but mostly stayed away because of his asthma.
Kids being goofy together. This is on a Sunday. I love Sundays! No iPods, computers, phones, Wii, or any electronics. My kids get along so much better on Sundays, and really have a lot of fun together!
Elizabeth brought crazy straw glasses and juice boxes for her birthday treat at school. They were a hit!
Her BFF
She tried purple grape juice and that worked a lot better. The first juice box was clear. Oops.
Grandma sent Elizabeth a gift card to Build-A-Bear. She had so much fun! She bought Toothless the dragon from How To Train Your Dragon.
Caleb got to pick a bear for his prize for finishing his reading lessons. I have taught all my kids how to read using this awesome book. It's amazing and so easy. They get to pick a prize when they finish lesson 100.
The next morning I found this. I think she likes it!
Lots of chess was played.
Halloween parade at the school. You can't really see that this is Caleb, but it is. He's a Ring Wraith from Lord of the Rings.
And Elizabeth is Arwen (an elf) from Lord of the Rings. It was hard to get a decent pic of them - they went by so fast.
Lydia was Tauriel from... you guessed it, Lord of the Rings. Or maybe Hobbit? I can't keep them straight. She went Trick-or Treating with her BFF, Missy.
On their way to Trick-or-Treat.
I thought this was cute. Nathan and Michael, the old teenagers, on their way to Halloween parties. And driving themselves. Weird. And cool. It made me feel quite old. But I was also excited for them, knowing how much fun they would have.
Lydia got this in her bag of treats. Yes, that's a pocket knife! Crazy! I wonder if someone meant to put that in there or if it accidentally got in there somehow. I have no idea how though. ?????? Lydia thought it was pretty awesome though!
And that concludes October. Next up, November. Stay tuned!
