12 Days of Christmas

We're doing the 12 Days of Christmas to our neighbor this year.  We picked the family of one of Lydia's friends.  They have 3 girls ages 7, 4, and 2.  We picked them because they have lots of little kids who will get excited.  Lydia doesn't play with her often although she really likes her.  They live in the next neighborhood over.  So it's close enough to be easy, but not too close so that they'll figure it out.

Tonight is night 1 so (obviously) A Partridge in a Pear Tree.  We gave them a Christmas tree with a partridge ornament on it and surrounded the tree with pears.  I made the gift basket myself and I have to say, I'm pretty proud of how it turned out!  (My camera can't take pics that do it justice, but believe me - it turned out better than I thought.)

Michael, Anna and Lydia got to be first to deliver the package.  I told the other kids to get in the picture and Nathan asked why.  "Because it's going on my blog, of course!"
