Celine!!!

My poor neglected blog!  It's been way too long since I updated my blog.  Now that I've let it go so long, I have too many things to post about and that makes me procrastinate it even longer, thus gaining more things to post about and creating a vicious cycle.  So I decided to just start and see how far I get.  I'll add the rest later.

The first thing to post about is my trip to Las Vegas to see Celine Dion.  As most of you know, I'm the BIGGEST Celine Dion fan there is... well, except for Katie maybe.  So I just HAD to go see her!  I went with my mom and sister for a girls getaway.  I've never done that since becoming a mom.  I've been away with Blake, but never just by myself.  It was really fun, but I missed my hubby and kids.  We had a blast though.  We shopped and shopped.  I sure miss shopping with my mom and sister!!!  I went to every gift shop I passed.  I think I have a gift-shop weakness.  We also went to see the Hoover Dam since we were so close.  And then, of course, we saw Celine.  It was an AMAZING concert!!!  I cried.  Yes, I know that's crazy.  But I was so excited to be there and I'd been looking forward to it for so long (we bought our tickets last June!), and she has the most incredible voice ever to sing on this planet.  So yeah, I cried.  And then I danced and cheered like I never have before.  I figured I was never going to see those people again.  And I had a blast.  I want to take my girls sometime and they're dying to go after I told them all about it.  Caleb was only interested in hearing about the plane ride.  I didn't even think he was listening, but later he said, "Mommy, did you ride in a plane that had lightning and it went up and down and it was dark outside?"  Yeah I flew through a lightning storm (SCARY!).  Needless to say, I hate flying.  But I'll fly if it means seeing Celine.  I wanna go again!  I forgot my camera so I'm waiting for pictures from my sister.  That's why I haven't really updated my blog - no fun pictures.  I'll put them on as soon as she sends them to me.  (Hint, hint, Amy.)
