Michael's Birthday Party

Yes I know, Michael's birthday is in June.  And no, I'm not that far behind on my blog.  He waited all summer to have a party because his friend was out of town.  Then we decided that we were doing family parties and he shouldn't get a friend party.  So I told Michael he could pick a family activity.  He wanted to go to a movie.  I told him he could pick any movie and that we could just take the older kids if it wasn't kid friendly.  Obviously we wouldn't let him go to "bad" movies and I trust him that he'd pick a good one.  I was thinking if he picked something like Captain America or Harry Potter that we probably wouldn't take the little ones to it.  My sweet boy picked a movie that everyone could see because he wanted the whole family to go.  So we saw the Smurfs for his birthday.  Everyone liked it and had fun.  Michael is not a big fan of cake or ice cream, so this year he picked pumpkin pie for his birthday "cake".  Happy Birthday Party, Michael!
